Kelley is a clinical intern here at Serenity. Kelley has multiple years of experience working in the field of mental health, including working with adults and adolescents with various anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, and trauma experiences in a residential setting. Kelley values having an open, collaborative, and therapeutic relationship with her clients. Within that relationship, she uses interventions informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. She has training and experience in using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Behavioral Activation (BA) applied to multiple different symptoms and populations.
Kelley graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a B.A. in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her M.S. in Community Psychology from Alverno College. Before working in mental health, she spent time working in various childcare facilities in assistant and lead caretaker roles. In her free time she loves spending time outdoors, including gardening, hiking, identifying wild plants, and jumping in the closest lake (when the temperature allows!). She also enjoys reading, trying new recipes in the kitchen and spending time with family and friends.
